The Somalia Branch of Ziraat Katilim; obtained its establishment permission on 02.07.2022 by holding a banking license in accordance with the laws of Somalia with a capital of 20 million USD. Ziraat Katilim, Turkey's first government-owned Islamic Bank, has the distinctive feature of being Turkey's first and only Islamic Bank in Somalia, together with its Somalia Branch. All activities of the Somalia Branch of Ziraat Katilim are fully conducted in compliance with the principles of Islamic Banking.
